Heroes Of The Wild – Summer Camp

Dear Parents,

Thank you for your interest in The Forest School. I am Madhuri Shinde, the founder of The Forest School. I know you might have a lot of questions in terms of safety and activities for your child. I am writing down a few common questions and answers, but if you have any more, please feel free to give me a call and we can have a conversation.

What is “Heroes of the Wild”?
“Heroes of the Wild” is a 3-day, 2-night residential outdoor camp designed for children aged 10–18 years. It’s a gamified and experiential learning adventure that blends the excitement of superhero themes with real-life survival skills.

When and where is the camp?
🗓️ Dates: 5th to 7th May 2025
📍 Venue: ZBAC Adventure Camp, Kolad

Who can join?
Children between the ages of 10 to 18 years. No prior outdoor experience is required.

What will students do?
Your child will be part of a tribe and participate in a series of fun and challenging missions. The goal is to promote life skills such as collaboration, confidence, and leadership while exploring nature.

Is it safe?
Absolutely. Here’s how we ensure safety:

• Certified First Aider and Mountaineer as part of the team
• 1:8 instructor-to-child ratio
• CCTV monitoring at accommodation and activity areas
• A car always on standby at the campsite
• Doctor’s clinic just 10 minutes away
• Hospital 20 minutes from the site
• Trained instructors and full-time supervision

Who is conducting the camp?

The camp is conducted by me, Madhuri Shinde, founder of The Forest School. I am a certified First Aider, Guide Captain, and a National Level Rifle Shooter with years of experience in organizing outdoor education and camps for schools and organizations.

Where will they stay?
Children will stay in AC dormitories on a sharing basis — safe, secure, and clean.

What’s the cost?
₹9,000 per child (inclusive of AC transport, stay, all meals, activities, and safety gear)
